The 2010 Summer Reading Program is going on now!

Come to the Pineville Library and get your time log and packet of goodies when you register.

Kids in grades 6 and under will be able to redeem their time logs for great Prizes from the Prize table, and Gift Cards.


Teens in grades 7 - 12 can also redeem reading time for Gift Cards from Target, Wal-Mart, Sonic, Old Navy, etc...

At the end of the program in July, we will have TWO GRAND PRIZE DRAWINGS (one for the Teen program, and one for the Kids' program).

The Grand Prize Drawings this year are for 
$100 Wal-Mart Gift Cards!
(And who couldn't use an extra $100 these days?)

How to Enroll in the Summer Reading Program

Welcome! Our program is FREE and open to all children, 6th grade on down to babies. We combine weekly Story Time events with a prize table that rewards time spent reading during June and July.

  1. Stop by the McDonald County Library, fill out a quick and easy form for each of your children, pick up a packet, and get ready to Read Read Read!
  2. On your Reading Log, keep track of the time that each child reads in June and July (or how long you read to them if they are pre-reading). You may redeem these Time Logs at the library for gifts from the prize table or gift cards at area stores.
  3. Attend each Story Time event for an additional chance to win prizes, do many crafts, and have a great and splashy time.
  4. Enjoy our wonderful Kick Off event on June 1st, where there will be many games, crafts, snacks, and a Fishing Pond.
  5. Dive In with us and have a great summer!
