ENROLL NOW for our new & improved...
Summer Reading Program!
Now with a great reading incentive program for 7th-12th grade students:
Exchange your reading time logs for Gift Cards to many of your favorite retail stores, and you'll be automatically entered into the grand prize drawings for one of two brand new Nintendo Wii game systems. (Yes, we are now offering the 6th grade and younger readers a seperate prize drawing for their own Wii!)
Of
course, we still offer lots of fun toy prizes to our readers 6th grade
and younger, and special infant toy selections for non-reading toddlers
as rewards when you take that all-important time to read to them.
Homeschooled children can participate too - everyone is welcome!
Big News! Due to "overwhelming demand" we are now offering TWO Nintendo Wii game systems
as part of the Summer Reading Program... One drawing for readers in
7th-12th grades, and another drawing for 6th grade and younger!
Each Story Time event will feature a craft table for some great hands-on fun, and lots of stories and activities.
In order to participate, you need to….
- Fill out a registration form and collect your reading log, rules, and schedule of events
- Begin
reading after June 1st, and recording your time on your reading
log. We will NOT be counting how many books you read, but how
LONG you read (or have books read to you, as a Non Reader). As
you complete each Reading Time Log, return it to the Library, and
collect a new one. Prizes will be marked by Time Points, and you
may read up to a maximum of 20 hours for prizes.
- BE
THERE at each of our Story Times! The June events will be held on
Thursday evenings. We encourage all families to attend, including those with
children involved in Summer School. The July events will return
to Thursday mornings.
This year we will have tons of fun with bugs and insects, and we hope to see you here!
